Bby Boo (stylized in all caps) is a song by Puerto Rican rapper iZaak. It was produced by Barvc and Dímelo Flow and released on December 22, 2023, through Warner Music Latina. iZaak and Panamanian producer Dímelo Flow wrote the song alongside producers Barvc and BK. The song was later remixed with the addition of Puerto Rican rappers Jhayco and Anuel AA on March 27, 2024.[1]
Background and release[edit]
"Bby Boo" was released following the remix of "Bonnie and Clyde" with Luar La L and Omar Courtz. The song was described by "Fame Icon" magazine as "a musical odyssey" celebrating unbreakable romantic ties.[2]
Remix[edit]
The popularity of an AI-made remix by Anuel AA on social media inspired the official remix. The remix, featuring Anuel AA and Jhayco, was released on March 27, 2024.[3]
Commercial performance[edit]
"Bby Boo" debuted at number 27 on the US Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart and number 179 on the Billboard Global 200. In Argentina, it peaked at number 26, and in Spain, it reached number 6. The song received a Gold certification from PROMUSICAE in April 2024.
Music video[edit]
Music videos for both the original and remix were released, featuring iZaak, Jhayco, and Anuel AA dancing together. The videos are available on iZaak's Youtube channel.[4]
