Clarke Jordan (born March 3, 1976), better known by his stage name Bossolo is an American rapper. His stage name is a reflection of his lifestyle. As "Bloc Hustle Inc." he has released eleven albums on his own with no major distribution.
Early life
Clarke Jordan was born in Madison, Wisconsin on March 3, 1976. At the age of twelve in 1986, he and his mother and siblings moved in with a family member in Los Angeles, California. They later settled in the Inland Empire city of Riverside. After going to jail and beating an attempted murder charge, he decided to change his life and started a rap group along with his Uncle Dante called "Words Of Mouth" in 1990, going by the name Smooth Mc T. The group landed their first deal with Capitol Records in 1992 after filming a video called "Insane" about the Rodney King beating. It wasn't easy for him growing up in poverty-stricken areas in Riverside. He sold drugs to survive. Death and suicidal thoughts ran through his mind frequently as he struggled with alcoholism for over a decade.
His life consisted of drugs, racism, and homicides as he faced the death of both of his dear cousins in a highly-publicized double homicide in Annapolis, Maryland.[citation needed] Shortly after that he would face another big blow in his life – the death of his younger brother, Edwin Donte Ezeala, murdered in cold blood on the streets of Moreno Valley. He was later confronted with the death of his son from severe brain cancer.
