BioSlimDisk is a USB storage device produced and marketed by Ritech. Its signature products include fingerprint sensors on the devices for added security.
Overview

BioSlimDisk is a product line of biometric USB storage devices produced and marketed by Ritech. The signature devices have a separate lid that protects the static fingerprint sensor. The IDEA device has a slider cap that protects its stripe fingerprint sensor. They have a rubber coating in common which, after some time, gets unpleasantly sticky but prevents fingerprints from being easily lifted from the device. The IDEA devices aren't coated.
Manufacturer's security statement
The biometric USB hardware is encryption coupled with dual fingerprint authentication methodology to prevent crackers from bypassing the encryption. Dual fingerprint authentication increases the difficulty for crackers and prevents outside access to the secured non-volatile internal memory storage. Signature is designed so that the encryption key is stored randomly in the flash memory. If cracked, a self-destruct feature will trigger a reformat, destroying all data stored on the device.[1][2][3][4][5]
Hacker's security statement
The device does properly encrypt the data, but an attacker with some soldering skills and basic I/O and coding abilities can trick the device into believing it has received two valid fingerprints, thus granting access to the encrypted data.[6]
