Black Suits You is a novel by Algerian novelist Ahlam Mosteghanemi published by Dar Nofal year 2012.
Summary[edit]
The novel revolves around a fifty-year-old millionaire who fell in love with a 27 year-old Algerian singer Hala El-Wafi, as Talal Hashem saw her by chance on a TV show then he decided to marry her. He strove to enrich his cultural take in music, art and poetry to develop a plan to set up with the beautiful woman dressed in black to mourn the killing of her father and brother during the turmoil in Algeria at the beginning of this century.[1]
