Bonito Designs is a home interior design company based in India.[1] It was founded by Sameer AM, Vathsala Rangegowda, and Rickson D’Souza in 2012 and has operations in Bangalore, India.[2]
History[edit]
Vathsala Rangegowda was working as a designer with the Future Group, while Sameer was a software engineer and a real estate broker. The two teamed up with Rickson D’Souza and started Bonito in 2012.[3][4][5]
The company's headquarters is located in Bangalore and has over 220 employees.[6]
In 2019, the company appointed Gabriel Gil as senior design mentor and formed a partnership with AIESEC, a not-for-profit organization, to create a knowledge-sharing platform for designers. It also partners with academic institutions like NIFT and LISAA.[7]

Bonito received its pre-Series A funding of $6.3 million in March 2019 from Tomorrow Capital.[8][9][10]
