Bono is a Brazilian sandwich cookie brand created by Nestlé in 1994. The brand was originally sold by Nestlé's now defunct subsidiary Biscoitos São Luiz as a way to reinforce the factory's portfolio of sandwich cookies featuring different flavors from the Negresco brand.[1]
Since its introduction, the brand has been one of Nestlé's main and longest-lasting biscuit brands.[2][3] The product is known for consisting of two milk-flavored biscuits (except for the chocolate flavor) with a filling in different flavors, the most common being chocolate, strawberry, doce de leite and lemon. In addition to cookies, the brand has also been sold in the form of wafers over the years.[4] In 2024, the brand collaborated with the chocolate brand Garoto as one of the flavors of the Choco Trio chocolate bar.[5]
Flavors
Bono is mostly known for being sold in the chocolate, strawberry and doce de leite flavors. Over time, the brand has sold other limited flavors such as lemon, coconut and churros.[6]
