Calinix is a free and open-source Linux distribution based on the Arch Linux operating system. Relation to Arch Linux
The main difference compared to Arch Linux is the repositories.
CalinixOS uses the following repositories:
- Arch Linux Repositories: The default core, extra, community and multilib repositories of Vanilla Arch Linux.
- Chaotic-AUR: chaotic-aur is an unofficial user repo that has prebuilt binaries from the AUR.
- Arcolinux Repositories: Calinix uses the arcolinux-3party and arcolinux-xlarge repositories which contain various software from the AUR, pre packaged.
- Calinix: Finally, our own repositories with all our configuration packages, dependencies, software etc. It's hosted on GitHub
