Center for Peace Studies (Croatia)
Center for Peace Studies (CMS; CPS) - is a Croatian NGO, promoting peace-building by non-violent ways like education, public policy, researches and activism.[1] Formally established in 1997, it has grown from different peace-building movements of 1990s such as Volunteer Project Pakrac and the ARK (Croatian Anti-War Campaign)[2].
CPS operates through three programs:[1]
- Asylum, Integration and Human Security;
- Peace Education and the Affirmation of Nonviolence;
- and the Fight against Inequality.
CPS works in Croatia, Servia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia.[3] Organization is the participant and member of Human Rights House Zagreb, Platform 112, GOOD Initiative, Croatian Youth Network, CROSOL (platform for International Civil Solidarity in Croatia), SOLIDAR, Coordination for integration, Asylum coordination, Anna Lindh Foundation, ECRE, ENAR, Anti-fascist league, Initiative Welcome, Liberties, NK Zagrev 04[1]1 and the Border Violence Monitoring Network (BVMN).[4]
