Layla Mpho Mokoena, better known by her stage name Chayuta, is a Ghanaian and South African singer-songwriter and recording artist.[1]
Early Life
Chayuta spent the first 6 years of her life between Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK and South Africa. In 2010, she relocated to Ghana with her Ghanaian mother, and currently resides in Accra. She is combining her music with school and just completed high school in June 2021.
Musical career
Chayuta’s music genre can be described as a mix of Contemporary R&B and Afro Pop. She released her debut album 17[2]. She followed it with a single called Solo[3]
