Choctalking on Other Realities is a memoir by writer and playwright LeAnne Howe, an enrolled member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.[1]

It is a collection of essays that depict Howe's life spent crossing cultures and borders. She writes about her experiences as an "unknown Choctaw on a US book tour," her brief employment at a Wall Street securities firm and what it was like to be the American Indian representative at the United Nations' International Year of the World's Indigenous People conference. Howe posits the theory of embodied tribalography in the final essay of this book, remarking on how indigenous stories travel between generations, spaces and bodies.
