Chris Ho was a Singaporean radio personality, musician, club DJ, journalist and film maker. Following a stint with the garage/hard rock band Transformer from 1979 until 1982, he led Zircon Lounge, the first new wave band in Singapore, to critical acclaim, which released one full-length album in 1983 and four additional singles between 1985 and '86. Ho's 1989 solo album, Nite Songs In Day-Glo, sustained that acclaim, and beginning in 1994, he would produce a further series of solo releases with the X' Ho moniker. Ho would remain prominent in both music and radio until his death in 2021[1]
