While the Italian language exclusively uses the Latin script, the Cyrillic script has been adapted for Italian.

Italirico[edit]
Italirico (Итаԓирико) was invented by Stefan Stanchev, a Bulgarian who also invented a Cyrillic alphabet for Spanish.[1] It incorporates letters from both Slavic and Turkic Cyrillic alphabets, as well as some letters from Old Church Slavonic. Extra letters are used for loan words.
