Dərə Şahbuz (archeological site)
Dərə Şahbuz— (also Dere Shahbuz) settlement is an ancient site of the Chalcolithic period located in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, north of Kulus village of Shahbuz District, on the right bank of the Kulus river.[1]. Ceramics found at the place of settlement are mainly divided into two groups. The first group is ceramics made of sand mixed clay, and the second group is ceramics made of straw mixed clay.[1] The pottery samples found here are similar to the pottery found in the Qarğalartəpə and Şomutəpə monuments.[2].
