Archaeologist Vali Bakhshaliyev conducted research here. The researcher said that the graves here were of the stone box type and that they were built with a number of large stones. The graves here were completely destroyed because they were exposed to soil erosion. The graves are oriented in different directions. Pieces of pink and gray clay pots were found in the graves. Based on the discovered archeological materials, the necropolis can be dated to 1-2 A.D centuries.[1] The necropolis is important in terms of studying the history of antiquity in the South Caucasus.
