dV7（Korean: 대위세븐), was a producer, lyricist, and composer in Hong Kong. He began his career as a K-POP producer in Korea before eventually debuting in Hong Kong. He was first known as '대위세븐', but changed his stage name to 'dV7' after returning to Hong Kong. He is the founder of ECHO Entertainment. He is now one of the Music Producer and Music Video Director in Hong Kong, after producing the debut album 《ACCRUE》 for the artist Terence Ng in 2022.
Life and career
In 2011, he went on a business trip to Korea due to work. He worked as a VJ, PA and other positions in two major Korean TV stations.
From 2011 to 2015, he travelled between Hong Kong and South Korea, serving as a producer and a music creator for several Korean brokerage companies. Cooperative units include the Planning Department, A&R Team of FNC Entertainment, CJ E&M, AI Entertainment etc. He was mainly serving FNC Entertainment, providing service for the artist (e.g. Juniel) and music recording for bands, artist planning (e.g. CNBLUE, P1Harmony, etc.) and music video production, etc.
He founded ECHO Entertainment in 2014.
From 2015 to 2019, in addition to idol planning, he also participated in K-performing arts. Such as TV series Original Soundtrack Production (STONE MUSIC) K-Drama (cn| MNET-Wave CN ) etc.
Returning to Hong Kong in 2020 to plan for local groups as a producer[1], however, the contract of the members expired, and the qualified number of members fell through.
In 2022, he repurchased the identity of the music creator and the copyright of related works from the old company, and then debuted again under the Kpop stage name dV7, and also debuted in the music industry of Hong Kong too.
In 2022, he became the chief producer of Terence Ng, producing everything from music production to MV production for Terence Ng.
