David Donald Mobley (/ˈdaveːɪd/;/ˈmobːlee/; Dave Mobley; born October 22, 1953) is an American Entrepreneur, Songwriter, and Producer born in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex in Texas, USA. Mobley is best known as the Founder of Wonder Wafers International (company), creating Wonder Wafers Air Fresheners (product) in 1999, Co-Founding "Crosswindz" (pop/rock non-touring studio recording group) in1970 and Producing, Financing, Arranging and Composing several hit singles and albums over his 50+ year music career. David is also the Founder of Mobley Products, Inc. as well as David Mobley Productions, Founder and Producer of Oldies Goldies Radio, the Songwriters Webcast and The David Mobley Show. Mobley is also a Founding Member of the Tyson-Mobley Songwriting/Production Group and a Co-Founder, Executive Producer and member of the pop/rock studio recording group 'Black Water Greed' founded in 2012.
Music Career[edit]
Mobley co-founded the non-touring pop/rock songwriting and recording group Crosswindz in 1970. Crosswindz recorded their first album "High Park" in 1972, their second album "Hot Acoustic Nite" in 2003 and third album "The Dark Side of Day" in 2011.
Mobley founded the non-touring pop/rock studio recording group Tyson-Mobley in 2021 and is currently writing and recording their second yet to be named studio album to be released by their band 'Black Water Greed' in the Summer of 2023.
Mobley is credited with composing the soundtrack for the 2003 Axiom Award Winning motion picture "Deliberate Conduct" with the song "Cabin Fever" from the Crosswindz - "Hot Acoustic Nite" album.
Mobley was the Producer for the rock group "State of Whatever" hit album titled "Lifeless" in 2005.
Mobley is one of the Executive Producers of the motion picture "Deal" starring Burt Reynolds, released in 2008.
Mobley is credited with backing vocals in Track 14 of the Todd Rundgren album titled "[re]Production" in 2012.
Mobley is credited as Executive Producer of the "Dave Evans/John Nitzinger hit album titled "Revenge" released on the Bad Reputation Records label out of Paris, France in 2013. Mobley is also credited as Songwriter, Co-Songwriter, Producer, Executive Producer, guitar, synth, keyboards, and backing vocals on the Dave Evans (Co-Founder of AC/DC) EP titled "What About Tomorrow" released in 2014.
Mobley is credited as the Songwriter and Producer for the hit single "Better Off Alone" in 2015.
