Davis Ashura is an award-winning writer of epic fantasy fiction novels. Best known for his ground-breaking Castes and the Outcastes trilogy, the first part of the Anchored Worlds universe, a set of linked epic fantasy novels, it was also Davis’s first taste of success. This success continued with the popular follow-up series, The Chronicles of William Wilde. Having now sold over a quarter of a million books worldwide, Davis’s latest novel, A Testament of Steel, published by Heroic Books, continues his talent of blending exciting epic fantasy with ancient rituals and real-world diversity and has already topped several of Amazon’s best-selling lists. Davis Ashura (born December 11th 1969) is an American author residing in North Carolina, USA. He has written ten novels to date. A Warrior's Path, his first, was written whilst he was a practising Doctor in Hickory, North Carolina. He studied medicine Akron University but has always been a writer. He was initially published by DuSum publishing in 2014, who secured rights to his opening trilogy The Castes and OutCastes. His second book A Warrior's Knowledge was followed by the concluding novel of the trilogy A Warrior's Penance.

Between 2016 and 2019 another series of fantasy novels were published The Chronicles of William Wilde, a five book series. In July 2020 'A Testament of Steel' has been published by Heroic Books, and is the start of a the 'Instruments of Omens' series.

Early life[edit]

Ashura was born in Challapali in the Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh, and moved to the United States in 1973.
