Denby County are a fictional football team in the Bristish comic Champ, which appeared in the We are United strip (1984-86). The name was a direct reference to Derby County FC. The club's nickname is The Beaks.

The club was founded in 1897. In 1984 manager John Bland took over the team after getting fired by Riverton United.
