Diploma in Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery or D.H.M.S. is a diploma in Homeopathy system of medicine (including use of Biochemical remedies) awarded in India by the Central Council of Homoeopathy vide the Homoeopathy act of 1973 (and regulation in 1983, with further amendments in 2005) to the University [note] or medical institution [note] students in India.[1][2]

Applicability[edit]

D.H.M.S. certification and a registration on state register or the Central Register of Homoeopathy permits an individual to practice homeopathy in India.[1]

Course duration[edit]

Diploma in Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery, is of four year's duration (including compulsory internship of six months after passing final diploma examination).[3]
