History[edit]

Distelli was initially founded in 2013[2] by Rahul Singh, the fourth engineer on the Amazon Web Services team.[3] On October 3, 2014, Distelli raised a $2.8 million Series A funding round led by venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz.[4][5][6] The funding news was publicly announced on January 20, 2015. With the round, Andreessen Horowitz partner Scott Weiss, and former founder of IronPort Systems joined Distelli's board of directors.[7] Additional Distelli backers include Vikas Gupta, current Founder and CEO of Wonder Workshop, Reza Hussien, former Co-founder and CFO of Jambool, and Fred Hsu, Founder and CEO of Oversee.[8] Former CTO of BlueKai, Jon Ingalls, serves as an advisor to Distelli.[9] In September 2017, Distelli was acquired by Puppet.[10][11][12][13]
