Divya Marathi is a Marathi newspaper in Maharashtra, India, owned by D B Corp Ltd.[3]It is one of the highest circulation Marathi dailies, with the most editions in Maharashtra.
It is published from Nashik, Aurangabad, Jalgaon , Ahmednagar, Akola, Amravati & Solapur.[4]
History[edit]
Dainik Bhaskar Group, the largest media house in India, started Hindi version in 1958 from Bhopal. The Gujarati version was launched in Ahmedabad, Gujarat in 2003 and then on May 29, 2011 the Dainik Bhaskar Group took the next step in Maharashtra at Aurangabad and the Marathi language "Dainik Divya Marathi" emerged. Prior to the launch of this edition, the group conducted a door-to-door survey in which 140,000 households were visited and the daily Divya Marathi was started in Maharashtra with 85,000 copies.
