Diya Ali (Punjabi/Urdu: دیا علی) is a Pakistani model and actress from Lahore[1] Punjab, Pakistan. She was the winner of Miss Pakistan 2017/2018 selected by Miss Pakistan World[2] organization in 2017. Ali was the first girl selected from the soil of Pakistan to represent Pakistan internationally in three international pageants.
Pageant Work[edit]
In November 2017, Diya Ali[3] represented Pakistan[4] in Miss Asia Pacific International[5] 2017, and won the title of Miss Perpetual. That was a first win for a girl from Pakistan, as many Miss Pakistan World's were always chosen from their country of residence than origin. After that Ali participated in Dubai, UAE for The Most beautiful Girl competition as well as Face of Arabia where she won runner up position.
In 2018,[6] Ali participated[7] in Miss Eco International[8] 2018 representing Pakistan. Ali, is known for her bold statements[9] and has been very upfront about Pakistan's participation[10] in international pageants encouraging the youth of Pakistan to be active in pageants.
In 2018, Ali's bikini[11][12] photos went viral, causing her to get overnight attention[13] from both India[14][15] and Pakistan. Ali always dreamed of being part of the Miss World Pageant,[16] but was unable to go for it, but is hoping in the future.[17]
Diya Ali has also participated in Miss Globe in Albania but did not win any titles.
