Don't Take My Life is a single by YMA4 from their debut studio album B.F.F (Best Friends Forever). The song was released October 01, 2018 by YMA4 Music. It was produced by YMA4's prominent record producer Young Mahasi as a half member of the duo.[1]
Background[edit]
The song was recorded in 2017 at South-Side Studios. It was announced be released on August 2018 and it was held back for a month because of ongoing negotiations between YMA4 Music and Slight Edge Media before it was officially released by YMA4 Music. Since it was released, the song was downloaded more than 600 times on South African music website BIMBA before it was taken down by Five Star Records.[2]

Towards the end of 2018 around November, YMA4 announced they were officially working on the music video of the song.
