Hasane Mathe II (born September 9, 1996), better known by his stage name Young Mahasi, is a South African rapper, songwriter, singer and record producer.[1] He is known for being a half member of YMA4. He released his solo mixtape Price Of Life on January 18, 2019[2] and his also one of those who covered one of the biggest song "Redemptioin Song" written by Bob Marley.[3]

Hasane Mathe II was born on September 09, 1996 in Mokopane, Limpopo.[4][5]
Music Career[edit]
Beginning[edit]
Hasane was introduced to hip hop music by his brother Suprise Mathe at the age of 12. He followed the music until he started writing songs at the age of 14. He was known as the only kid during that time who was playing hip-hop music only in the village he was raised. When he was 15 Young taught his long time best friend A4 how to write songs and later that year they formed a duo known as YMA4. In 2015 Young founded his independent record label Five Star Records which is a parent label to YMA4 Music.
2017:Present[edit]
Young Mahasi and A4 in 2017 founded their independent music imprint YMA4 Music as a brand of their music origin.[6] As a member of YMA4, Young Mahasi released B.F.F Is Ready in 2017 which gained him notability for producing the mixtape. The mixtape was rated 4.8/5 star for international level by Prodeam.[7] Young Mahasi was listed one of the best record producers from Bakenberg, Mokopane. He released B.F.F Is Ready 2 in July 2018 as a member of YMA4. Five months after the release of YMA4's B.F.F Is Ready 2, Young Mahasi released his solo mixtape called Price Of Life in Janury 18, 2019.[8]

Influence[edit]
Young Mahasi growing up he was listening to hip hop music only. He listed Eminem, Jay-Z, Akon, 50 Cent and Lil Wayne as the hip hop icons those inspired him.[9] The genre he frequently listened to are Gangsta, alternative, hardcore and southern hip hop.
Production[edit]
Young Mahasi mentioned Dr. Dre and Mike Will as the music producers those inspire him in terms of production. In 2019 earlier March, Young Mahasi started sharing composition of instrumentals for free with LMMS.[10]
