Mariana Vergara is a Colombian cosmetic dermatologist based in Beverly Hills, California.[1][2][3]
Career[edit]
Vergara attended University of the North (Universidad del Norte) in Barranquilla, Colombia from where she graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in 2006. She eventually moved to Miami, USA.
During her medical training, Vergara started her internship as part of the Latin American Program at the University of Miami School of Medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital. She completed her internship at Children Hospital and MultiCare Deaconess Hospital in Boston.[4][5]
In 2012, Vergara joined Florida International University’s BSN/MSN program for foreign educated physicians. She graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor's degree in Science of Nursing and a Master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner.[6]
Vergara also had her own cosmetic practice in Miami.[7] In 2016, after she moved to California she opened a cosmetic and dermatology center in Beverly Hills called Beauty Villa Vergara.[8][9][10][11]
Vergara has provided cosmetic treatments to notable people including celebrities from Hollywood such as Eva Mendes, Miranda Kerr, Vanessa Villela, Ashley Iaconetti, Robyn Lively and Gia Gunn among others.[12][13][14][15][12]
She’s the cousin of actress Sofia Vergara.[16][17][4]
