Dr Zafar Iqbal Khokhar ڈاکٹر ظفر اقبال کھوکھر (born 1st May 1969 in Jhelum), is a Pakistani poet شاعر, educationist ماہر تعلیم translator ترجمہ نگار, researcher محقق , literary inventor ادبی موجد, homeopathic doctor ہومیوپیتھک ڈاکٹر You Tuber, Co-founder and Chairman of Zikorean Poetry Foundation. Family Background[edit]
خاندانی پس منظر
Dr Zik belongs to a poise معزز and patriot محب وطن family whose professional background covers army and medical fields. His father Muhammad Gulab Khan محمد گلاب خاں also served in Britain برطانوی and Pak armies and participated in World War II, and defensive wars دفاعی جنگیں against India in 1965 and 1971. His mother Hajra Bibi ہاجرہ بی بی was a great lady who led a simple life following Islamic teachings.
Early Life ابتدائی زندگی[edit]
Dr. Zik started his early life as a simple, caring and an intelligent student. He got educational scholarships during studies. In high school, he participated in athletics like race, high jump, long jump, discus throw, hammer throw and He was player of basket ball team, badminton team of school and football and hockey team at local level in mohallah. Zafar also participated in editorial competitions like speeches and poetry at retail level. He always stood first in sketching and painting competitions at school level.[1] [2] Zafar was in tenth class in 1985]]
Education تعلیم[edit]
During early education, Zafar got 2nd position in 5th and 8th classes. Zafar was 3rd in Jhelum District. After passing matric with distinction from Govt Comprehensive High School جامع ہائی سکول جھلم, Dr Zik attended Govt. Post-graduate College Tahlianwala ٹاہلیاں والا Jhelum.
Zafar was in the tenth class in 1985. He passed Fazal-e-Arabi from Jamia Arabia جامع عربیہ اسلامیہ Jhelum and stood 9th in the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Rawalpindi. He received bachelor's & Master's degrees from the University of Punjab Lahore. He received his BEd degree from Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad. He attended DHMS 4 years medical course at Jhelum Homeopathic Medical College Jhelum, stood 2nd, and was bestowed with silver medal.
Almusanafeen المصنفین[edit]
Dr Zik set-up a literary organization "Almusanafeen" المصنفین in 1987. Dr Zafar Iqbal Khokhar was founder and organizer. Professor Shahid Basheer Tahir was president and Hafiz Muhammad Ayyaz was vice president. Dr Muhammad Imran Qureshi was general Secretary.
Career[edit]
Dr. Zafar taught Political Science at Govt Degree College Sarai Alamgir in Gujrat District after serving as computer trainer at Fauji Foundation Training Center Jhelum on contract basis. He is busy in medical practice nowadays yet have time to deliver lectures in vatious colleges as a visiting lecturer. The subject of teaching is Zikorean English Literature.
Literary Services[edit]
Dr Zik continued writing poetry during his career as medical practitioner طبی معالج. He is author of three poetic collections and one translation book. He declared through his research, "Dr Maya Angelou's Poetry and The Ziket Taste"[3] for the first time. He also fixed and described the structure of Zikoren poetry ظائیکریائی شاعری and its types[4] through his research work, columns, lectures and videos. Dr Zik composes poetry in English, Urdu, and Punjabi پنجابی. But he is worldly known for the invention ایجاد of Zikorean English Poetry ظائیکورین / ظائیکوریائی انگریزی شاعری and development of Zikorean English Literature ظائیکوریائی انگریزی ادب in the post-modern period of English Literary History. انگریزی ادبی تاریخ Dr Zik introduced metrical schemes for writing Zikorean Poetry.[5]
Interest[edit]
Dr Zik is the poet of positive values as he seems to avoid prejudice and discrimination of all types, He finds the solution of all worldly problems in the Divine path as he says,
"Come toward my Lord"
He is famous for inspirational and divine poetry and known by his penname Dr Zik in the international literary circles and leading poetry sites.
Literary Inventions ادبی ایجادات[edit]
Dr Zik renders the hidden beauty of traditional literature through the Zikorean structure. He says Zikorean poetry structure enhances the beauty of writings even of the famous poets of past. This process does not lessen their worth such as molding of old fashion golden jewelry into modern designa doesn't decrease price or value. We observe Dr. Zik's literary orInventions in both fields: poetry and prose.
Zikorean Poetry[edit]
He introduced two root level short poetic forms, "Ziket" ظیکٹ two lined poem [6] and "Zinet" ظائنیٹ one lined poem [7] [8] through his research thesis [9]"About Me At A Glance" میرے حوالہ سے ایک جھلک on leading poetry site Allpoetry and from them, secondary level three poetry forms having short poetic lines: Zikelite, Zinelite, and Zeelite. Moreover, he also introduced twelve branches of Zikorean Literature.[10]
Zikorean Prose[edit]
Dr Zik introduced twelve branches of Zikorean Prose. He compiled a Zikorean dictionary to explain Zikorean terms. He has written essays, columns, and poetry analyses more than 150 in news papers, magazines and social media for the sake of learning and awareness.
Zikorean Poetry Foundation (ZPF)[edit]
Dr Zik is the co-founder and chairman of Zikorean Poetry Foundation ظائیکوریائی شاعری فاؤنڈیشن formerly "Dr. Zik Foundation ڈاکٹر ظک فاؤنڈیشن. Malik Muhammad Saqlain is the chief pattern of ZPF.

PK Roy the first Zikologist of India recalled and said in an interview on Sep 28, 2022, "Dr Zik, Poet and Inventor of Zikorean Poetry presented an interesting perspective on brevity and syllabic patterns. Motivated with his creative work published till now -508- Zikorean Poems in All Poetry".[11]
To honor him, Nancy Jackson from Tennessee United States, declared him "Grand Master of Ziket".
On the basis of literary inventions, Advocate Professor Brundaban Panda from the Republic of India declared him a Scientist of Literature. [12]
Learning and Teaching سیکھنا اور سکھانا[edit]
Dr Zik as a chairman Zikorean Poetry Foundation recommends certificate and diploma courses up to six months for learning and teaching purpose nd the foundation make it possible. Zikorean Curriculum Committee ZCC has designed these cources. Dr Zik is the chief pattern while Raja Muhammad Awais, Muhammad Zubair, Dr Ashraf Iqbal are members and Shams Iqbal is the president of ZCC.
