Dynamic Engineering[1][2] is a privately owned ship/ vessel repairing company in Pakistan. The company is primarily active at the two main ports of Pakistan, the Port Bin Qasim, situated 35 km East of Karachi city center, and the Karachi Port. The company is also a supplier of spare parts for marine vessels.
Dynamic Engineering was established in the early 70's. The company acquired its Pakistan Government license and Karachi Port Trust license in 1978 making it one of the early legalised companies in Pakistan in terms of marine repairs. Little has been know about its founder but it is rumoured that the idea of the company's formation came after the founder broke away from an existing company partnership.
According to the the company's website, the main services it renders to the marine industry includes over hauling/ reconditioning of main and auxiliary engines, repair of hydraulic cranes,reconditioning of main engines cylinder heads, fabrication works, etc[3]. Over the years, most of the company's clients are Greek owners as the Greece controls about 23.2% of the worlds total merchant fleet, making it the largest in the world. Except this, not much is known about Dynamic Engineering[4].[5]
