EBOT Streetcar
The EBOT Streetcar, or the Emeryville-Berkeley-Oakland Transit Streetcar, is a proposed light rail transit system which would connect existing Amtrak and BART stations in Emeryville, Berkeley, and Oakland, California. According to a 2014 study commissioned by the City of Emeryville, the EBOT Streetcar system would cost approximately $129 - $148 million to construct, and could be open for use as early as 2024 or by 2034 at the latest. That study proposed a loop through Oakland connecting BART stations at 12th Street, 19th Street, MacArthur, and West Oakland; with a spur to Amtrak's Emeryville station.[1]
