EVOS Food Creations, Inc. (styled ēvōs) is a chain of franchised fast food restaurants founded in Tampa, Florida. The company operates 3 locations in Florida. The name "EVOS" derives from the word, "evolve".
History[edit]
The idea for EVOS came when co-founder Dino Lambridis and friends were unable to find a fast, healthy lunch during a trip to Miami. Lambridis has claimed, "We have a very unique [sic] concept that doesn't exist in the marketplace...We're an all-American burger cafe, except the ingredients are much healthier and more natural."[1][2] The company sponsors the EVOS Healthy School Lunch Program in order to improve nutrition for schoolchildren.[3] EVOS' stores are made with sustainable materials, their packaging is biodegradable, and their ingredients are all Fair Trade Certified.[4]
