Edward "Eddie" George Hendrix Benjamin (born January 16, 2002) is an Australian singer-songwriter and producer.


Early Life[edit]

Eddie grew up in Australia and from a young age exhibited an interest in music. His dad Huey is a musician and his mom Narelle is a dancer. He began performing at clubs in Sydney, Australia when he was 14. In 2015, he joined the Haze Trio.

Career[edit]

In 2017 Eddie went to Los Angeles, California where he began collaborating with fellow artist AJ Mitchell. He eventually signed a record deal with Epic Records. Eddie often collaborates with Meghan Trainor[1], Sia[2] and Labrinth[3]. He co-wrote and performed on “Funk” and “Here to Stay” from Meghan Trainor’s most recent album Treat Myself[4]. In 2020, Justin Bieber called him "the next generation". April 3, 2020 he released his debut single "F**ck My Friends" which was co-produced with Dan Gleyzer[5].

Personal Life[edit]

In 2019, he began dating dancer Maddie Ziegler[6] and they adopted a dog "Boots" together.
