Edward- The diary of a hamster
Edward- The diary of a hamster is a book written by Miriam and Ezra Elia.[1] Printed in 2012 by Humanitas, the book is 92 pages long, and aimed at all readers. The book is written in diary form. Miriam Elia and her brother, Ezra Elia, were once proud owners of an unusually sullen hamster named Edward, which died in their care. The death of the hamster had a deep impact upon them, because it was the only being the two have ever tried to care for.
Characters[edit]
- Edward is the protagonist of the book. He is the philosopher hamster who writes in his diary about all his life. He is describing his experiences with his fellow, about his own feelings and he expresses what happened to the cat. Walking on the wheel is specific to hamsters in general, but Edward hates this squeaking wheel that the wheel makes and he sabotages the habit of his fellow with his brilliant mind.[2][better source needed]
