Ekkehard Nuissl

Ekkehard Nuissl (born 15 June 1946 in Kiel) is a German emeritus professor for Adult Education.

Life[edit]

Nuissl published more than 600[1] Scientific publications on Education policy and on teaching and learning in further education.

In 2000 the West University of Timișoara awarded him with a Honorary doctorate. He taught as a Honorary Professor at the University of Florence (Italy), Timișoara (Romania), Toruń (Poland), Delhia(India) and many other universities in Germany and abroad.

Between 2000 and 2006 Nuissl was the Vice president of the Leibniz Association. Since 2006 he is a member of the international Hall of Fame of Adult Education (HoF).[2] His areas of research are education policy and teaching and learning of and with adults.
