Elume
Elume is a town in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.
Elume is one of the ruling clans in Okpe Kingdom, made up of different villages (Ugbukurusu, Ugborhen, Adagbrasa-Elume, Iyade, Ologho) with a unique language (Okpe) and a vast population with a unique cultural heritage.
It is an oil-producing area, which has over 10 oil wells, flow and compressor stations operated by the SEPLAT, which produces 25,000 barrels of crude oil daily from the area since 1996.
It is 9.8 kilometres (21 minutes drive) by road to Sapele and 33.5 kilometres (42 minutes) to Effurun.
