Orugbo Community is an indigenous Itsekiri rural community in Warri Kingdom. History records that Orugbo Community was founded by umales (masquerades) that were driven from Ode-Itsekiri by Olu Irame due to their regular noise. It is located in Warri South Local Government Area of present-day Delta State, Nigeria.[1]
Geography
Orugbo Community is located in Ode-Itsekiri ward of Warri South and under Warri Federal Constituency of the Nigerian Federal constituency. Orugbo Community shares boundaries with Ode-Itsekiri Community, Ugbodede Community, Inorin Community and Ajigba Community.
Families
Orugbo Community is made up of several families and some of them are listed: Ejejigbe, Omagbemi, Gbugbuda, Okoro, Temile, Maku, Egbede kuyomah, Erubore, Lori, etc.
