Ugbodede Community is an indigenous Itsekiri rural community in Warri Kingdom. Princess Arugimema Omateye founded Ugbodede Community. She is the daughter of Crown Prince Omateye who died immediately after his father, Olu Akengbuwa joined his ancestors, which led to the interregnum in Warri Kingdom between 1888 and 1936. It is located in Warri South Local Government Area of present-day Delta State, Nigeria.[1][2]
Geography
Ugbodede Community is located in Obodo/Omadino ward of Warri South and under Warri Federal Constituency of the Nigerian Federal constituency. Ugbodede Community shares boundaries with Orugbo Community, Usele Community. It is along the Warri River and opposite Ugbuwangue Community along Warri River.

The Cheke family makes up the community.
Community Resources
Ugbodede Community is an Oil producing community with a flow station and plays host to NPDC.
Governance
Ugbodede Community has a governance structure that mirrors most other Itsekiri communities. The Olu of Warri is the overall head of the communities. This is followed by a council of elders, a community trust and a youth body.
