Enayam is a fishing village in Killiyur Taluk, Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu State, India. It is located 32 km west of the district headquarters, Nagercoil.
Enayam International Seaport The Enayam International Seaport is proposed and located in Enayam. It is projected to transform it into a major port and India's southern trans-shipment gateway. The project costs ₹27,570 crore. [1] Reclaiming 500 acres of land from the sea. This will be undertaken in three phases. The Enayam International Seaport would initially have the capacity to handle around two million metric tonnes of cargo, gradually increasing to eight million metric tonnes in the coming years.
