The Fort Lauderdale Herd BC is a professional minor league basketball team based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The team was established in 2018 and played their inaugural season in the FBA in May 2019. The Fort Lauderdale Herd BC is led by six-time ABA champion and 2014–2015 coach of the year Kevin Waters.[1]
History[edit]
Competing in the Florida Basketball Association, the Herd launched their inaugural season in May 2019.[2] After a 10-0 regular season, Fort Lauderdale defeated the Winter park Storm (112–108)[3] in the first round of the FBA Playoff before falling to eventual champions The Florida Flight in the semifinals.
After the FBA Summer season, Fort lauderdale Herd BC[4] joined the NBL-US for the 2020–21 season.
