Godrej Anandam or Godrej Anandam World city is a condominium complex and a group of six residential skyscrapers[1] developed by Godrej Properties[2] which is located in Ganesh Peth, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. It is constructed on a plot of 22-acre (8.9 ha)[3] and is home to the tallest buildings in Nagpur. 18 acres (7.3 ha) of land is used for construction while 4 acres (1.6 ha) are allocated to central gardens. The towers are 65 m (213 ft) tall and 19 floors high and have 454 apartments.[2][4] Godrej Anandam is the only IGBC Gold Pre-Certified building in Nagpur.[5]
Construction[edit]
The Project's construction was started in October 2010[6] and the construction of Tower A, B and C (Phase I) was completed in December 2013[7] The project also included the construction of Bungalows and Villas on the ground floor, while the towers D, E and F (Phase II) were completed in June 2014.[8][9]
Location[edit]
The project is located at Model Mills compound, Ganesh peth in Nagpur (Maharashtra), which is in the central part of the city. The project is around two km (1.2 mi) from the Nagpur Railway Station and ten km (6.2 mi) from the Nagpur Airport. The project is in close proximity to Nagpur's central business district (CBD) area.[8]
Tallest Building in Nagpur[edit]
Godrej Anandam is the tallest building in Nagpur with a height of 65 m (213 ft) till 2018. It is followed by Tata Capitol heights with a height of 61 m (200 ft) claiming the record of the second tallest building in Nagpur.[10][11][12]
