Guarda Wallet is a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet that enables users to securely manage over 400,000 cryptocurrencies, tokens and assets. It supports 50+ blockchains through a web application interface, a browser extension, a desktop applications and a mobile app (iOS and Android)[1][2][3]. The Guarda wallet is a product of Guardaco LDA that is a software company focusing on blockchain technologies.[4]

Guarda Wallet is a self-custody wallet that allows users to securely store their public & private keys and send transactions directly to a blockchains. Private keys are never transferred via network and always stored on a user device.[5]. Ledger hardware wallet devices are supported by the software and can be used to enhance security.[6] Wallet supports Multisigs, which requires two or more signatures on a transaction before it can be completed.[7] Users can store, send and receive digital assets and also buy, sell, exchange via Guarda partners integrated into the wallet. Stored coins and tokens can generate passive income by staking an asset using Proof_of_stake validator nodes. Virtual and physical Visa cards are available on Guarda Mobile app that allow user to spend crypto assets for shopping.[8]

Guarda Wallet was initially designed in 2017 by Guardarian OU's Paul Sokolov.[9] It all began with the launch of the first cryptocurrency wallet for Android (Ethereum) on the Ethereum Classic website[10]. Then, they went on to create the multi-currency wallet that exists today.[11] In August 2022, the company has introduced support pre-paid Visa cards that are available for order in the EU countries.[8]
