Gursewak was born in Ludhiana, Punjab and raised there. Manjit Singh, his father, is a Small Business Owner and his mother is a housewife. He has one younger sister.

Gursewak completed his primary education at Vikas Senior Model School, Ludhiana, and went to Malwa Polytechnic College, Faridkot, Punjab, for his polytechnical education. There he did a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
