Gusbourne based in Ashford, Kent, is an English vineyard and winemaker. They grow 60 hectares in Appledore, Kent and 30 hectares next to the Goodwood Estate in West Sussex.[1]

History[edit]

Founded in 2004 their debut vintages – Brut Reserve 2006 and Blanc de Blancs 2006 – were released in 2010.[2] Gusbourne doubled their income in 2021 by selling direct to consumer.[3] Gusbourne saw a a 55% increase in UK trade sales, to £3 million, for 2022.[4]

Awards[edit]

In 2017 Gusbourne became the only three-time winner of the ‘English Wine Producer of the Year’ at the International Wine and Spirit Competition, having previously won the award in 2013 and 2015.[5] Won six gold medals in the WineGB Awards 2019.[6]
