H. L. Dusadh (born October 20, 1953 at Naravli khem Devariya, Uttar Pradesh) is an Indian writer and founder of the Bahujan Diversity Mission. He is popularly known as the Diversity Man of India. He has written more than 84 books on Bahujan diversity in India.

"H.L. Dusadh is not the typical high-society Delhi intellectual one sees at the India International Centre and other usual places in the seminar circuit. He, like crores of other Indians, is a victim of linguistic discrimination that is as odious, if less subtle, as caste discrimination", said by renowned commentator Sudheendra Kulkarni.[1]

Early life[edit]

Dusadh spent his early life in Kolkata. His father was working in Exide Battery Company.

Bahujan Diversity Mission[edit]

Dusadh founded Bahujan Diversity Mission on March 15, 2007. BDM annually awards Diversity Man of the Year. Renowned journalist and writer Dilip Mandal, Social activist Nand kumar Baghel, Mahendra Yadav (journalist)[2] and others have been honored as the Diversity Man of the Year by BDM.[3]
