Habito is an online mortgage broker servicing the UK that created the world's first robo-adviser for regulated mortgage advice.[1]
History
Habito was founded in 2015 as Hey Habito Ltd by incumbent CEO Daniel Hegarty, who serves as a Director alongside investors Toby Coppel and Meyer Malka.[2][2]
Its online service offering mortgage search and comparison was launched in April 2016[3] after a seed funding round.[4] Seed backers included TransferWise CEO Taavet Hinrikus, Funding Circle CEO Samir Desai, and Yuri Milner of DST Global.[5]
