Harvey Brittain (born 8th March 2002)[1] is an English pop/r&b singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer.

Career[edit]

His initial exposure came at age sixteen through his supporting of international jazz saxophonist Courtney Pine, for a performance within his home-city of Preston.[2] In September 2018 he was awarded the Rob Gretton Scholarship for Music by Manchester's SEM (School of Electronic Music) where he briefly studied.[3] In May 2019 he was signed to U.R.G (UCLan Recordings Group) ​after being discovered by Entrepreneur and Ministry of Sound's former Director of Operations, Tony Rigg.[2] In September 2019 the label released his debut single It's My Paris produced by both Brittain himself & BRIT Awards Nominated Producer / LMC Member, Lee Monteverde.[1][2] The twenty-year-old artist currently attends Berklee College of Music.

Early Life[edit]

Harvey Brittain was born in Preston, Lancashire, UK and began learning to play the Piano at age five, after being inspired by his father 'Andrew Brittain'[1], who notably is known for his work as an Actor, Presenter for ITV News Granada and Voice Over Artist for National Television, having voiced shows including Stars in Their Eyes' , Coronation Street and World In Action.[4]
