Highervisibility was founded in 2008 in Memphis, Tennessee. David McElveen and Adam Heitzman started the company after spotting a gap in the market for professional marketing companies within the Tennessee area.[1] According to the company's founders in 2008 Memphis had marketing companies and web design agencies, but it seemed to lack dedicated visibility and SEO companies.[1]
In May 2014, BestSEOCompanies.com listed Highervisibility in #1 position with a score of 97/100.[2] Scott Langdon joined the company as Managing Partner in 2012. Previously he had previously founded Nationwide Card Services Inc, before selling the company to Bankrate for $33.4 million.[3]
