Is an American performance artist known as Karma. Karma has written, recorded, produced, and engineered on several projects as a group and as a solo artists. With studio albums such as The Encounter / Dont be Afraid of the Light / The Leak /The Game has Changed / Silence Is Golden / Take Over 1 & 2. [2] Sovereign Royalty, and also the Steez76dKarma project[3] which got great reviews.[4] Karma is the CEO of the independent record label based out of Oceanside, California called Pacific Ocean Records. They have released over 40 albums via online distribution and have shot 59 videos. With artist that have been on the label .
Early Life[edit]
Karma was born, (Nathan Ryan Hostutler) May 3, 1981 in Riverside, Ca where he grew up and later moved to Oceanside, California, in 1995 where his music career would start.
Career[edit]
Karma started an indie record label called Pacific Ocean Record in 2009 and has produced multiple albums from artist all over the world, ranging from Uganda to Florida, South Carolina, Washington, Oakland, and France. Putting together different artist from different genres in 2012 Pacific Ocean Records was the biggest record label in North County San Diego Ca. The label consisted of Talentd, Nando, Lady Lane, 4Duece, Randy Boston, Bang Thozz, Knuckles, Fastlane, Act Up, Adhima [5], Bandit, Don P, Wes Haven, Jacinda, Nyce, M3chii Ruu, Stone Age Camp, Ladotee, YV Baby, Dj Kid Reckless, Dj J Dawg. With the team in full strength they would release a full-length album for every month for 2 years (24 albums). Pacific Ocean Records got the first FM air play from OZCAT radio out of Vallejo CA[6] , Next Talentd from Pacific Ocean Records won the Hot shot competition in the home town San Diego and would get air play on JAM'N Z 90

Karma would later start to be known for his sound and his show presence and style of mixing and engineering with names like Rappin 4 Tay, Suga Free, Yukmouth, Kevin Gates, Mr Shadow, Dub C, C-Bo, Mitchy Slick and many more his later career has been behind the boards on some underground hits.
Style and influences[edit]
Karma is known for his dynamic rhyme schemes , melody's and high energy performance abilities. Karma says that he is influenced by Old school hip hop, and artist such as 2pac, Snoop Dogg , E-40, Bone Thugs n Harmony, Goodie Mob and OutKast. He is also interested in other genres of music, and lists The Doors, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Linkin Park, Metallica, and The Beatles as influences. He's known for saying "I want to leave a legacy so we can live forever thru our music and our message".
