Hussam Mahdi (Arabic: حسام مهدي ; born 5 January 1997) is an Iraqi professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Iraqi side Al-Minaa and the Iraq national under-23 football team.[1]
Career
Hussam joined Al Minaa's senior team in 2017, after being promoted from their youth sector.[2] Hussam made his debut in the 2018-19 season, playing three games in the league. He signed a contract extension to represent the team in the 2020-2021 season.[3]
