Saif scored the draw goal in extra time.[9] In 2017 and during the summer transfer period, Saif moved to Naft Al-Wasat, and in the winter transfer period of the same season he moved to Erbil on March 20, 2018,[10] and in the following season Jassim returned to Al-Hudood on August 8, 2018,[11] and on July 23, 2019, Saif scored the second goal for Al-Hudood against his former team, Naft Al-Wasat, in the match that ended in a 2–2 draw, and saved his team from a loss.[12]
