I See You is a single by Young Mahasi from his first solo mixtape Price Of Life. It was released January 18, 2019 as a pack along with other songs during the release date of the mixtape. It was released under YMA4 Music and self-published by Young Mahasi.
Background and production[edit]
Around December 2018, YMA4 announced they will be performing new songs, days before their December 31, 2019 performance on their Facebook page. After several days after the announcement, Young Mahasi's mixtape was announced with a release date. The song was recorded and produced by Young Mahasi along with Young Mahasi's mentor God Himself. It's a pure freestyle song that was recorded straight forward and God Himself separated the long verse with a none written hook in the middle of the song recorded by Young Mahasi at South-Side Studios. The song was claimed to be recorded within 10 minutes and completed the full production of the song within 20 minutes by Young Mahasi.
Acclaims and artwork[edit]
The song received positive feedback from the fans, it was praised to be one of the best songs from the mixtape by some Facebook users. After positive feedback, the song was promoted as a single from the mixtape on various social platforms. The art cover of the song was designed by Young Mahasi and was revealed on his Instagram account and YMA4's Facebook page on April 06, 2019.
