Ifeatu Obianwu is a Nigerian Igbo singer/rapper, known by his stage name Ifeatu, who lives in the United States. He hails from Onitsha north local government in Anambra state and started his music career in 2015.

Early life

Growing up in Nigeria, he is a Roman Catholic and was a member of his church altar server. He lived in Onitsha north local government area in Anambra state, where he attended his primary and secondary school. He went to seminary school while he was in Nigeria and was a member of the school choir.

Ifeatu became a songwriter and started writing poems/songs at first. Writing songs was what he enjoyed doing. He also enjoys dancing. He started dancing when he was a kid before his music career.

He had difficulty with his dancing due to the kind of siblings he had, who did not support his dancing career as of then.

Music career

He released his first single named "Ifeoma"[1] in 2015 under a single distribution deal signed by Fabrizio Moreira under his record label VIP Music Records.

Earlier in 2016, he released his first EP album titled "Amare". He grew up in Onitsha where he spent most of his life at a young age. Shortly after releasing his EP album, he released a mad jam titled "MENS" which exploded his music career and made him well known everywhere both home and abroad. His release was also featured in 360.Nobs[2] and Pulse Nigeria.[3]

He is well known and loved for rapping and singing in his native language called "IGBO"[4]
